Jenni has been coaching for 15 years, is a UKCC Level 2 Coach, (working towards Level 3) and a Level 4 Strength and Conditioning Coach. She started her journey as a youth coach at her netball club and since then has progressed to coaching a number of clubs and elite level athletes.

Jenni has previously worked as Director of Netball at a school in North London, but now she works within the Superleague Franchise as Head Coach at London Pulse Hub as well as coaching Knight Men’s Netball and Regional Teams.

Previously Jenni has had success with a number of clubs and universities, coaching them through BUCS divisions and advancing clubs from local league to the East Region division.

“To me, coaching is all about athlete development. I want to be part of the journey to success and help athletes to reach their full potential. Excelling on the court is more than just attending training sessions, it’s about the extra work and commitment you put in outside of match-play. I set up Netball Excellence Training because I wanted to give young athletes an opportunity to focus on their own performance and tools and knowledge they need to excel. By working on the key ‘FAB’ principles alongside regular Strength and Conditioning training, I believe that an athlete can continue to excel and improve their game no matter the stage of their journey. There is no limit to performance.”

As well as coaching, Jenni is passionate about playing the game and you can find her in the defensive circle playing at a Regional Standard for her club based in Essex.

Shona has been involved in netball for many years and is a passionate player and

Shona has coached for a number of schools, colleges, universities, clubs and
counties. Working for England Netball for 3 years is especially a highlight within her
netball career. Shona now works as a PE teacher and is Head of Netball at a school in

“For me the best feeling in the world is seeing and supporting somebody in a fun
environment to develop and build self-confidence within the game I am so passionate
about. It is great to see athletes achieve in their sport, and being there to support them
through their journey makes me very proud”

Alongside her coaching, Shona captains her East Region Division 1 Squad and plays a
key role in the development of the team both on and off the court.

My daughter has been doing training with Jenni for about 6 weeks now – every class is amazing! Jenni is so upbeat and makes every session so fun and fresh! And, my daughter doesn’t realise how much exercise she’s actually doing as she’s having so much fun!

Netball excellence training was introduced to us just before lockdown and proved to be an invaluable page especially in the height in lockdown. It kept my daughter active and engaged and still training hard for the game. Jenni is a breath of fresh air, so encouraging and is always happy and positive on her page. Slowly as life got back to normal we were unable to do the lives as they clashed with Ava’s football matches but that was not a problem as she could watch them back again and complete in her own time.
