I recently had covid so I decided to start with the basics programme within NETGym to ease myself back into fitness and to warm up ahead of the rest the netball season starting again the end of January. I then supplemented that with a mix of sessions from the NETHome section of the membership from shooting practice to strength and cardio.  I have a lot of experience with weight training but even the basics programme sufficiently challenged me whilst ensuring I was targeting key muscle groups for my netball matches. I haven’t done plyometrics before but just 2 weeks of inclusion to my training was enough to have impact on the court in our first game back!I felt more agile on my feet and was able to reach more intercepts then ever before. It’s so exciting to have something so targeted to netball to look forward to and help motivate me in the gym and with improving my netball game!
