Summer Performance Camps 2020

“It’s time to get back to playing the game we love!”

It’s that time of year again! NET will be running Performance Camps throughout August to help you to excel your game and prepare you for when we are finally allowed back on court.

Our performance camps are suited to athletes who already understand the basic principles of the game (footwork and passing) and are aiming to improve their individual skills in each of the court areas. The camps being help at Woodson Park, Ware are position specific whereas the camps being held at Herts and Essex Sports Centre, Bishops Stortford are more general and focused on the key ‘FAB Principles‘ of the game.

PERFORMANCE CAMP

WODSON PARK, WARE

A position specific camp running throughout August to help improve each athlete’s understanding of the game, their positional play and develop their key skills on court. Each day is split into four position specific training sessions that will run for 45 minutes each.

You may choose to participate in one or all of the following sessions:

  • Shooting
  • Mid-Court
  • Defence
  • Fitness

Slots are to be booked individually; however, whole day bookings are welcome. There are toilet facilities at the centre which can be used during the 15 minute break between sessions.

Training is available to U11, U12 an U13 (Monday and Tuesday) and U14, U15 and U16 (Thursday and Friday).

CORE PRINCIPLES CAMP

HERTS AND ESSEX SPORTS CENTRE, BISHOPS STORTFORD

A three day camp (across three weeks) focusing on the three ‘FAB Principles’ of the game: Footwork, Agility and Ball Work. This camp is suitable for all players looking to improve their core skills in the game.

The camp will be held on the 4th, 11th and 18th August. The day is split into training blocks dependant on the athlete’s age. Training is available to Year 7, 8 and 9 at 11am – 12.45pm and to Years 10, 11, 12 and 13 at 1pm – 2.45pm.

Athletes must be able to attend all three dates as we are only accepting block bookings for this camp.
