The NET ACADEMY is designed to help players to learn, train and perform as athletes so that they can reach the next level of their game, be outstanding on the court and be confident entering club, county or franchise trials, training environments and competitions with their clubs and schools.
The academy is completely athlete centred, meaning that we focus every session around the individual to help them to improve their own performance and reach their own goals. In each session players will be exposed to strength and conditioning training, fundamental skills coaching, technical and tactical challenges and team building to help them to create the building blocks they need to become a better athlete.
The Academy does not replace club or school training. Rather it supports the learning of skills and understanding of the technical and tactical game so that players can reach their goals within the sport wherever they play. We aim to support the netball journey of players in a professional, performance driven environment alongside club and school commitments.

All of our Academy players are equipped with the tools they need to reach the next level of their game. As well receiving strength and conditioning training, Technical and Tactical Coaching and feedback at every session, Athletes are also supported with an ‘Athlete Performance Plan’ (AFP) throughout their time at the Academy and given access to the NET MEMBERSHIP to help structure and support their training at home and in the gym to further their development.

ACADEMY LOCATIONS
We are proud to run our Academy Programme in 9 different locations across Hertfordshire, London, Essex, Norfolk and Sussex. The programmes run from September-July (excluding school holidays) and spaces are available on a first come, first served basis.

OUR COACHES
We pride ourselves on selecting the best coaches for the job. All our Academy Coaches not only know the game inside out, but are dedicated to athletic development and performance to make players stronger, faster, thinking players so that they can really excel in their club and school training environments.
All of our coaches will take the time to provide feedback to players every session as well as helping them to understand their own progress and development by guiding through their individual AFPs.
Coaches meet regularly for training with NET Founder Jenni and to share ideas on best practice, performance and most importantly discuss how we can get the best from our Academy athletes and excel the next generation of athletes!
