MEET THE TEAM

JENNI MONGER

FOUNDER & HEAD COACH

Jenni has been coaching for 15 years, is a UKCC Level 3 Coach and a Level 4 Strength and Conditioning Coach. She started her journey as a youth coach at her netball club and since then has progressed to coaching a number of clubs and elite level athletes.

Jenni is the Head Coach for LDN Mavericks U19 NPL Squad, Performance Coach at the University of Hertfordshire and has previously worked as Director of Netball at an Independent school in North London.

Jenni has had success with a number of clubs and universities, coaching them through BUCS divisions and advancing clubs from local league to the East Region division.

“To me, coaching is all about athlete development. I want to be part of the journey to success and help athletes to reach their full potential. Excelling on the court is more than just attending training sessions, it’s about the extra work and commitment you put in outside of match-play. I set up Netball Excellence Training because I wanted to give young athletes an opportunity to focus on their own performance and tools and knowledge they need to excel. By working on the key ‘FAB’ principles alongside regular Strength and Conditioning training, I believe that an athlete can continue to excel and improve their game no matter the stage of their journey. There is no limit to performance.”

As well as coaching, Jenni is passionate about playing the game and you can find her in defensive playing in the England Netball Premiership 1 Leagu for her club based in London.

TEGAN LINTONBON – BAKER

NET CAMP LEAD COACH / NET Academy Coach

Tegan has been involved in netball for many years and is a passionate player and
coach. She is a UKCC Level 2 qualified coach and is passionate about supporting player development at grass roots level.

Tegan has coached for a number of schools and actively leads a number of teams within her club. She works full time as a Primary School Teacher, leading the PE curriculum within her school in Essex.

For me, nothing beats watching an athlete grow in confidence and love what they’re doing. Being part of their journey makes me incredibly proud and it’s a reminder of why creating positive, supportive environments in sport matters so much. It’s not just about developing better athletes but happier, stronger young people.

Tegan leads the NET Camp programmes we run in Herefordshire and Essex across the school holidays where she takes an active role in running and leading the coaching at the camps to ensure fun, development and progression of all of our athletes.

Jenni delivered a superb high intensity session focused on exactly what my daughter had asked for, it was fun and full of great tips and advice to take away and apply once my daughter can return to netball. She left grinning from ear to ear one very happy tired girl thank you we will be back!

Rebecca Mead – 1:1 Performance Coaching (U13)

Netball excellence training was introduced to us just before lockdown and proved to be an invaluable page especially in the height in lockdown. It kept my daughter active and engaged and still training hard for the game. Jenni is a breath of fresh air, so encouraging and is always happy and positive on her page. Slowly as life got back to normal we were unable to do the lives as they clashed with Ava’s football matches but that was not a problem as she could watch them back again and complete in her own time.
